Another turning point, 

a fork stuck in the road

time grabs you by the wrist, 
directs you where to go

new memories and old ones

with our suits and CVs in place

we've finally growing up, in the true sense

Clowning around :D

high fives and coconut jokes

occasional naps and locker room talk

and the water that no one can get enough of

"poisonous" crepe suzette 

and rare done beef roast

we've eaten it all

 and still frames in your mind

First year :)

wounds are healing

old memories are being brushed away

all because of you

I don't know where we'll all be

ten years later

It's not a question 
but a lesson learned in time

We're adults, chronologically

but not yet in mind

The child in us can't let go

but the adult thinks otherwise

It's something unpredictable

but in the end it's right.

A small part of us

will still revel in nonsense;

in the happiness of pure gobbledegook

after all, this is a part of who we still are

children at heart
